MISSION

An AI proposal generator that drafts from the sales call

REQUEST A MISSION

Tell us the meeting and what should happen after it. More detail means a sharper flight plan.

Request a mission

What it does

This mission is an AI proposal generator that starts from the conversation, not a blank template. After a discovery call, ChatGPT or Claude reads the call through Fathom and pulls out what the buyer needs, the outcomes they care about, their objections and their timeline. Then it drafts a proposal that matches your services and pricing to what they said.

Keep your service descriptions, pricing and past proposals in Notion or Google Drive so the AI writes in your format. You review the draft, adjust the numbers and send it ahead of the second meeting.

Who it's for

Founders, agency owners and sellers who write custom proposals and want them out the door while the buyer is still excited.

The flight plan

Run it after every discovery call that ends with "send me a proposal."

  1. Connect Fathom to ChatGPT or Claude, along with Notion or Google Drive where your services and past proposals live.
  2. Point the AI at one or two proposals you've sent that won.
  3. Run the starter prompt after the discovery call.
  4. Check the scope, pricing and timeline, then edit anything that needs your judgment.
  5. Send it before the second meeting, and use the call to walk through it together.

RULES

Open with the buyer's problem in their own words.

Only propose services you offer.

Answer every objection raised on the call.

Match the timeline the buyer gave.

Leave pricing for you to confirm.

What good looks like

A good proposal reads like it was written for this buyer. A mediocre one is your service page with their logo on it.

GOOD

"You told us the team loses two days a month rebuilding the same reports. Phase 1 (weeks 1–3) automates the three reports you named. On your concern about adoption: we include two training sessions and a check-in at week 6."

MEDIOCRE

"Acme Agency offers a full range of digital services to help your business grow."

STARTER PROMPT

⧉ Copy

Use Fathom to get my most recent discovery call. Pull out the buyer's problem in their own words, the outcomes they want, objections they raised, their timeline and who signs off.

Using my services and past proposals in [Notion or Google Drive], draft a proposal with: the problem, the proposed scope in phases, how we address each objection, the timeline and next steps. Use only services we offer and leave pricing as placeholders for me to fill in.

FAQs

Questions? We’ve got you covered.

How do I write a sales proposal with AI?

Start from the discovery call. Connect Fathom to ChatGPT or Claude so the AI can read what the buyer said, give it your services and a past proposal that won, and have it draft a proposal you review and price.

Will the AI make up services or prices?

Not if you follow the rules. The prompt limits it to services you offer and leaves pricing as placeholders for you to fill in.

Which Fathom plan do I need to run this skill in ChatGPT or Claude?

Any Fathom plan, including Free. The skill reads your calls through Fathom's MCP integration with ChatGPT and Claude, which is on every plan.

What is an AI proposal generator?

An AI proposal generator drafts business proposals from inputs like call notes, your service catalog and past proposals. The best results come from feeding it what the buyer actually said.
