MISSION
Not every tool your team uses has a Fathom integration. This mission uses Zapier or Make to send summaries, transcripts and action items wherever the work happens.

This mission connects Fathom to the rest of your stack. With Fathom's Zapier or Make integration, every new meeting can trigger a workflow: post the summary to a channel, add action items to a project tool, save the transcript to a shared drive or update a spreadsheet.
Add an AI step in the middle to reshape the summary for each destination, like a three-line version for chat or a structured row for a sheet.
Operations and IT teams who want meeting data in tools that don't have a native Fathom integration.
Pick one recurring meeting and one destination to start. Add more once the first workflow runs reliably.
Start with one meeting type and one destination.
Filter out internal or private meetings before they're sent anywhere.
Reshape the summary for each tool instead of pasting the whole thing.
Name each workflow after the meeting it handles.
Check the first week of runs before adding more.
A good workflow puts the right part of the meeting where someone will act on it. A mediocre one dumps the full transcript into every tool.
"Weekly client sync → 3-line summary in #client-acme, action items as Asana tasks, transcript saved to the client's Drive folder."
"Every meeting's full transcript posted to #general."
Here's a Fathom meeting summary. Rewrite it for [destination: Slack channel, task tool, spreadsheet or doc].
For chat, keep it to three lines with decisions first. For tasks, return one line per action item with owner and due date. For a spreadsheet, return one row with date, meeting, decisions, action items and owners. Leave out anything marked private.
Questions? We’ve got you covered.
Connect Fathom in Zapier, pick a trigger like a new meeting summary, then add the app you want to send it to. Add an AI step in between to reshape the summary for that tool.
Both work. Zapier is often quicker for simple workflows, and Make gives you more control over branching and data mapping. Pick the one your team already uses.
Fathom's Zapier and Make integrations aren't on the Free plan. They're available with limits on Premium and in full on Team and Business. To run a similar workflow in ChatGPT or Claude instead, any plan works through Fathom's MCP integration.
A Zapier integration connects one app to thousands of others through Zapier, so an event in one app can trigger actions in another without code.
A new mission launches every 1–2 weeks – real ways Fathom users are turning meetings into content, intelligence, and outcomes nobody expects. Subscribe and we'll send the new ones as they go live.
