Action items get agreed in the meeting and lost right after it. Someone has to copy them into a project tool, assign owners, set due dates and remind people in chat, and that someone is usually the person with the least time.
Fathom already captures every meeting and its action items. The missions above send them where work happens: tasks in Asana, Trello, Basecamp or Notion with owners attached, plus a message in Slack, Discord or WhatsApp so the team knows what's next. They run through Fathom's native Asana and Slack integrations, or as skills in ChatGPT or Claude using Fathom's MCP integration.
Start with one recurring meeting, like your weekly team sync, and route its action items to one board. Once that runs reliably, add a daily digest that works like an AI personal assistant for work: what you committed to, what's due and what's waiting on someone else.

A new mission launches every 1–2 weeks — real ways Fathom users are turning meetings into content, intelligence, and outcomes nobody expects. Subscribe and we'll send the new ones as they go live.
Questions? We’ve got you covered.
Set up a skill in ChatGPT or Claude that reads each Fathom meeting, pulls out the action items and creates tasks with owners and due dates in your project tool. Fathom's native Asana integration pushes action items straight into Asana, and its Slack integration shares summaries and action items in channels or DMs.
No. These missions work with the tools your team already uses, including Asana, Trello, Basecamp, Notion and Slack. If a tool connects through Zapier, Make or MCP, a skill can route action items into it.
Any Fathom plan, including Free. The skills read your calls through Fathom's MCP integration with ChatGPT and Claude, which is on every plan, as is the Public API. Zapier and Make have limited use on Premium and full use on Team and above.
Action items are the specific tasks agreed during a meeting, each with an owner and ideally a due date. Fathom's AI action items pull them out of the call automatically, so they're ready to route into your task tool the moment the meeting ends.
